Core Strength Meets Mindful Movement

Join me in person every Saturday at 8.30am for Core (Fun)damentals  – a women’s only class aimed at building strong core foundations for a stronger you!

For 60minutes, I will be helping you burn fat whilst strengthening the muscles of your stomach, back and booty using a combination of elements from mat Pilates and functional movement patterns.

Each week, the main workout block will vary in style and focus — designed to keep things fresh, engaging, and effective. Sometimes we’ll move through a Pilates-inspired flow on the mat, other times we’ll incorporate standing strength exercises or a full-body circuit. It might be a group-paced workout or a timed routine — no two sessions are ever quite the same!

What stays consistent is that every session is carefully structured to be inclusive and adaptable. You’ll be guided through exercises with clear progressions and regressions, so you can work at a level that challenges you safely — whether you’re brand new or building strength.

Expect a mix of:

  • Bodyweight core and stability work
  • Mat-based Pilates-inspired movements
  • Standing exercises for posture and balance
  • Resistance bands, booty bands, and occasional dumbbell use

No matter the format, you’ll leave feeling stronger, more connected to your body, and ready to take on the day.

You’ll move with control, improve balance, and reinforce posture and joint stability. Ideal for those looking to build core strength without high impact.

The class will take place at The Clock Tower Community Centre, Clock View Crescent, Market Estate, London N7 9HF

Add the event to your calendar to make sure you don’t forget and try to get there at least a few minutes before the start time.

The class will start with some dynamic stretches to loosen tight muscles and warm up your joints and muscles. 

Expect a mix of mat-based Pilates-inspired movements, standing balance exercises, and functional core training. We target the abs, glutes, and lower back to improve posture, mobility, and strength.

We will end the class with stretching to aid in recovery.

Cancellations are permitted up to 24 hours prior to the event. Any cancellation outside of this will result in a loss of payment.

If you booked the class via the You First app, you can cancel instantly subject to 24 hours notice. 

If you booked via the website and cannot attend, you would need to email admin@youfirst.fitness or contact me on WhatsApp on +44 7932 693 566 with 24 hours notice and a refund will be issued to you within 5-7 working days. 

Rest assured you will be in safe hands regardless of your fitness level and experience. Adaptations will be offered for exercises to suit the different needs of participants so you are  encouraged to choose the option that works best for you and not to compare yourself to others. 

If you have any specific health concerns or injuries, you are advised to email me prior to the class so I can advise you accordingly and prepare alternatives where necessary. At the very least, speak to me at the beginning of class, but given the nature of busy classes, receiving the level of attention and care that you deserve may be difficult so a message beforehand is always encouraged.

We all have to start somewhere and not coming to a class because you don’t think you are fit enough is not going to help you get fitter!

Absolutely! I am is a Pre and Post Natal Specialist so If you’re pregnant or recently postpartum, i’ll tailor the session with safe variations to support your stage and needs.

If you have any specific health concerns or injuries, I would question if a class is the best option for you. Although adaptations can and will of course be offered to prevent aggravating your situation, in a class environment you may not necessarily be able to receive the level of care that you deserve. Personal training may be a better option for you as this allows for your trainer to plan and prepare specific exercises that not only prevent worsening your injury but can also encourage healing. 

If you do have specific concerns, you are advised to email Natalie prior to the class so she can advise you accordingly and prepare alternatives where necessary.
